Chapter 99 - 3rd round! Jin vs Yin!

Rize: Aron Metal Claw!
Referee: Porygon 2 is knocked out! The winner is Rize from the Blue corner!

Rize have won his 3rd round of the Johto League and now Jin and Yin's match is about to begin. Who will come out as the victor?
Referee: The 3rd round is about to begin! Jin from the Blue corner against Yin from the Red corner! It's a 3 on battle with no time limit and free substitution! 3,2,1! Trainers begin!

Yin: Ursaring go!


Jin: Furret let's go!

" Furret the Long Body Pokemon and the evolved form of Sentret. It is a Normal type. Furret corners foes with speed despite its short legs. There is no telling where the tail begin. "

Rize: " Luckily my match is before them so I can watch their match!"
Jin: Finally I get the chance to beat you Yin! Furret Quick Attack!
Yin: Ursaring Brick Break!
Ursaring hit Furret with Brick Break before its Quick Attack land a hit.
Referee: Furret is unable to battle! Ursaring wins!
Yin: Are you serious participating in the league with that kind of weak Pokemon?! I wonder how you win the first two rounds.
Jin: The battle's just getting started! Politoed go! Bubblebeam!

" Politoed the Frog Pokemon and the evolved form of Poliwhirl. It is a Water type. Whenever there are three or more of these get together, they sing in a loud voice that sounds like bellowing. "


Rize: Finally Poliwhirl becomes a frog huh?
Yin: Destroy the bubbles with Slash attack!
Politoed attacked Ursaring with Bubblebeam but Ursaring bursted the whole bubbles with Slash attack.
Jin: Monster!
Yin: Slash attack!
Ursaring attack Politoed with a hard critical hit Slash attack.
Referee: Politoed is unable to battle! Ursaring wins!
Rize: " Hey hey! That Ursaring is crazy! Gotta do something Jin! "
Jin: You're strong Yin! But still! I'm going to win! Typloshion let's turn things round!

" Typloshion the Volcano Pokemon and the evolved form of Quilava. It is a Fire type. Typloshion has a secret devastating move. It rubs its blazing fur together to cause explosion. It attacks using blasts of fire and creates heat shimmers with intense fire to hide itself. If its rage peaks, it becomes so hot that anything that touches it will instantly go up in flames. "

Rize: His Quilava further evolved! This Typloshion might turn things round!
Yin: Finally! You revealed your Ace! Let's see what it can do! Ursaring Slash attack!
Jin: Typloshion Eruption!!
Typloshion unleashed a very strong Eruption attack and Ursaring was knocked out with a single blow.
Referee: Ursaring can't continue! Typloshion wins!
Rize: " That was a very powerful move! The whole stadium become hot too!"
Yin: Now you're going to regret for choosing that Pokemon for your first Pokemon instead of this one! This is the best starter! Feraligatr go!

" Feraligatr the Big Jaw Pokemon and the evolved form of Croconaw. It is a Water type. It usually moves slowly, but it goes at a blinding speed when it attacks and bite preys. "

Rize: " Yin's Croconaw has evolved to the final stage too! Can Jin win against it?!"
Jin: We won't lose even with a type disadvantage! Typloshion Quick Attack!
Feraligatr was hit by the speedy Quick Attack.
Yin: Crunch attack!
Jin: Dodge that and attack with Hidden Power!
Typloshion dodged Feraligatr's Crunch attack and attacked with Hidden Power and it looks like it is super effective to Feraligatr.
Yin: Ggrr! Slash attack!
Typloshion was hit by Slash attack.
Yin: Now quick use Aqua Tail!
Typloshion was hit again this time with Aqua Tail.
Jin: Typloshion hang on! Use Hidden Power!
Yin: Crunch attack!
This time Feraligatr dodged the Hidden Power and crunched Typloshion's neck.
Yin: Don't let go!
Typloshion was screaming in pain.
Jin: Typloshion!! Eruption!!
Typloshion unleashed a strong close range Eruption attack and hit Feraligatr. The whole arena was filled and clouded with fire. As the fire vanished the battle is now viewable again but..
Referee: Both Typloshion and Feraligatr is unable to battle! It's a draw! But since Yin still have 1 more Pokemon, Yin from the Red corner win!
Jin: ...
Yin: You did your best Typloshion!
The board begin to spin and displayed the 4th round's opponent for Rize and it was Yin who he's going against with in the 4th round. Jin has lost against Yin, will Rize be able to beat Yin and his strong Pokemon?!

Chapter 98 - Round 2! Vs Antoine!

It's the 2nd day of the Pokemon League Competition and Rize next opponent this time is Antoine.
Referee: The 2nd round of the Pokemon League Competition is about to begin! It's a 3 on 3 Pokemon battle with free substitutions and no time limit! 3,2,1! In the Blue corner we have Rize and the Red corner is Antoine! Let the battle begin! 3,2,1! Go!
Antoine: I have been waiting for this momment! This time you're going down Rize! Houndour go!

" Houndour the Dark Pokemon and the pre-evolved form of Houndoom. It is a Dark and Fire type. It conveys its feeling using different cries. It is smart enough to hunt in packs. "

Rize: Hoothoot go!
Antoine: Houndour Crunch attack!
Rize: Hoothoot fly up high to dodge!
Hoothoot flew up high and dodged Houndour's Crunch attack.
Antoine: Don't let it escape! Houndour use Flamethrower!
Hoothoot was hit by Flamethrower and fell down to the ground.
Antoine: Crunch! Go!
Rize: Hoothoot Hypnosis!
Hoothoot used Hypnosis and Houndour fall asleep.
Rize: Hoothoot rest up abit while its sleeping.
Suddenly the sleeping Houndour woke up.
Antoine: Fire Fang! Go!
Rize: So fast!
Hoothoot was hit by Fire Fang and knocked out.
Referee: Hoothoot lost! Houndour wins!
Antoine: My Houndour's abillity is Early Bird. It made it able to wake up faster than as usual.
Rize: Aron go!
Antoine: " What Pokemon is that?! It looks like it's a Steel type! But he knew that Houndour is a Fire type so it can't be a Steel type!
Rize: Aron Rock Tomb!
Houndour was hit by Rock Tomb.
Antoine: Houndour Crunch attack!
Houndour used Crunch on Aron but Aron barely feel anything.
Rize: Double Edge!
Houndour was hit by Double Edge and knocked out.
Referee: Houndour lost! Aron wins!
Antoine: Larvitar go!

" Larvitar the Rock Skin Pokemon. It is a  Rock and Ground type Pokemon. It is born deep underground. It can't emerge until it has entirely consumed the soil around it. After it has eaten a large mountain, it falls asleep so it can grow. "

Rize: " It eat a large mountain to grow?! That's scary! Wonder where he got his Larvitar from." Aron use Dig!
Aron burrowed a hole and went underground.
Antoine: Damn!
Aron came out and hit Larvitar.
Antoine: Larvitar use Brick Break now!
Rize: Aron Metal Claw!
Both Pokemon clashed their attack to each other and both was knocked out.
Referee: Both Aron and Larvitar is unable to battle! It's a draw! 3,2,1! Resume the battle!
Antoine: Sneasel it's up to you!
Rize: "I knew it will be Sneasel!" Aipom go!
Antoine: Sneasel Slash attack!
Rize: Aipom dodge it!
Aipom dodged Sneasel's Slash attack!
Rize: Aipom use Swift!
Antoine: Dodge that!
This time Sneasel dodged Aipom's Swift attack.
Rize: Both Pokemon are equally fast! If nobody can land a hit the match will not last! It's time for head to head battle!!
Antoine: I agree with you! Head to head and see who is stronger! Sneasel Metal Claw!
Rize: Aipom Brick Break!
The two Pokemon fiercely goes head to head trying to land a hit. After awhile Sneasel can't keep up anymore due to the move type disadvantage and lost its guard and hit by Aipom's Brick Break over and over again untill it's unable to battle.
Referee: Sneasel lost! Aipom wins! The winner is Rize from the Blue corner!
Antoine: I guess I still can't beat you afterall..
Rize: But this time you're close!
Rize have defeated Antoine in the 2nd round and proceed to the 3rd round. Will he be able to keep this momentum? Who will be his next opponent?!

Chapter 97 - Johto League Round 1 Begin!

The long awaited Johto League have finally began! The Opening ceremony has ended and the board started to spin to show the 1st opponent for each participant. There are a total of 128 Trainers participating in the Johto League Jr.Competition and tomorrow Rize will be having his first match.
Yin: Hey! You're lucky that you didn't meet me in the first round! I will crush you!
Jin: Hey I'm here too! Don't forget about me! I'm the future champion of this tournament!
Yin: Yeah.. whatever.. sigh..
Rize: Only time will tell!
Antoine: Hey Rize I made it into the Pokemon League in time!
Rize: Wow! You really gathered all the badges in time! Congratulations!
Antoine: I'm a genius afterall!
Rize: Why is everybody bragging themself.. sigh..
Schumi: " Bunch of pathetic losers!"
The next day..
Referee: Preliminary Round 1 of the Pokemon League Jr.Category is about to begin! On the Blue corner we have Rize from Hoenn and On the Red corner we have Gary from Johto! It's a 3 on 3 Pokemon Battle with no time limit and free substitution! Please send out the Pokemon after a countdown from 3! 3,2,1! Go!
Gary: Magcargo! go!

" Magcargo, the Lava Pokemon and the evolved form of Slugma. It is a Fire and Rock type. The shell on its back is just skin  that has cooled and hardened. It breaks easily with a slight touch. "
 
Rize: Cyndaquil go!
Gary: So we meet again! I really didn't expect meeting you in the Pokemon League Competition! So you're able to train your Pokemon properly now?
Rize: Ofcourse! And I'm going to win! Cyndaquil Swift attack!
Magcargo was hit by Cyndaquil's Swift attack but it didn't feel a thing as it shielded itself using its shell.
Gary: Weak attacks like that can't hurt my Magcargo! Magcargo Rock Throw!
Magcargo used Rock Throw but Cyndaquil managed to dodged every single one.
Rize: Your Magcargo's too slow! But this is too troublesome! Cyndaquil retreat! Swampert go!
Gary: I won't let you do as you like! Magcargo back! Wobbuffet go!

" Wobbuffet the Patient Pokemon and the evolved form of Wynaut. It is a Psychic type. It hates light and shock. If attacked, it inflates its body to build up its counterstrike. "

Gary: Come on.. attack us now..
Rize: Swampert let's win with 1 shot! Hydro Pump!
Gary: Wobbuffet Mirror Coat!
Wobbuffet took the Hydro Pump's damage but reflected it back to Swampert with 2x the power and Swampert was knocked out!
Referee: Swampert is unable to battle! Wobbuffet wins!
Gary: 1 shot huh? Yeah right!
Rize: "Gotta use Cyndaquil and win or else he will have the advantage!" Cyndaquil go use Lava Plume!(Cyndaquil learned Lava Plume)
Gary: Wobbuffet Mirror Coat again!
Wobbuffet took the hit and once again reflected the Lava Plume back to Cyndaquil 2x the power but.. Cyndaquil took it and raised its own Fire power thanks to its Flash Fire abillity.
Gary: What?! But how?!
Rize: Yes!|
Wobbuffet was also burned due to the Lava Plume effect and knocked out.
Referee: Wobbuffet is unable to battle! Cyndaquil wins!
Gary: Magcargo back to battle! Let's show them the true Lava Plume!
Magcargo used Lava Plume and Cyndaquil once again  raised its Fire power. The flame on Cyndaquil's back is bursting out terrificly huge!
Gary: It's not possible!
Rize: Cyndaquil Lava Plume!
Gary: Fool! It will not affect Magcargo at all due to type resistances!
But even Magcargo's type resistance can't resist the burning hot of Cyndaquil's Lava Plume attack and knocked out.
Referee: Magcargo is unable to battle! Cyndaquil wins!
Rize: Yes! One more to go!
Gary: Don't think you've already won! Gligar go!
Rize: Cyndaquil Lava Plume again!
Gary: Dodge and use Aerial Ace!
Gligar dodged Lava Plume swiftly and used Aerial Ace.
Referee: Cyndaquil is unable to battle! Gligar wins!
Gary: It's 1 on 1 now!
Rize: Okay Heracross it's your turn!
Gary: Hey isn't this the Pokemon you can't train last time? So you wanna lose again?
Rize: Heracross let's show him your true power! Full power Megahorn!
Gary: Gligar X-Scissor!

                           
The two Pokemon clashed each other with their powerful attacks and fell down to the ground and the last one standing up is..
Referee: Gligar is unable to battle! Heracross wins! Rize from the Blue corner wins!
Gary: I lost...
Rize won his first preliminary round of the Johto League and so do Schumi, Jin, Yin and Antoine as well. There's only 64 participants left and 5 rounds more to go. Will Rize be able to win?!

Chapter 96 - Last Training!

Today is the last day before the Pokemon League Competition starts! Rize gathered all his reserved Pokemon in Hoenn for last training!
Rize: Aron Metal Claw! Vulpix Flamethrower! Swellow Aerial Ace! Glalie Ice Beam! Milotic Hydro Pump!
 


Rize: Perfect! You're all much stronger since last time! You all must have been training when I left!
Rize's 1st 6 Pokemon met again and having a happy reunion.
Ling: Hey Rize! I see that you've been training hard for the league! I'm sure this year you will win!
Rize: Thanks!
Ling: It's been awhile since I meet your old Pokemon, your Vulpix and Milotic is dazzling!
Rize: Yeah! It's been awhile since I meet them myself. How bout your Pokemon contest?
Ling: Tomorrow will be the final for the Super Rank Beauty category. I will be going with my newly evolved Togetic and Bellossom! It's a double performance.

Rize: Togetic! It's the evolved form of Togepi huh?

" Togetic the Happiness Pokemon and the evolved form of Togepi. It is a Normal and Flying type Pokemon. It grows dispirited if it is not with kind people. It can float in midair without moving its wings. "

Ling: I'll let you see the contest performance we've been practicing for tomorrow.
Ling showed the performance of a beautiful Petal Dance from Bellssom and a Togetic flying gracefully as if dancing with the Petals. Milotic and Vulpix upon seeing the performance suddenly put up their own performance of fire and water combination.
Rize: Wow I didn't know Milotic and Vulpix can do such a beautiful move! " They must have an interest in Pokemon Contest and been pracitcing their own combination!" Ling why don't you enter the final contest tomorrow with my Milotic and Vulpix?
Ling: Eh?! Really?! It will be a pleasure!
Rize: Milotic, Vulpix show the audience your beautiful moves  tomorrow and help Ling win the final ok?
The next day..
Judge: Winner of the Super Rank Beauty category is Ling with Milotic and Vulpix!
The whole audience clapped and cheered for the winner.
Ling: Thanks Rize! Couldn't have done it without your Vulpix and Milotic! Here I return them to you.
Rize: Welcome! No Ling I want you to take care of Vulpix and Milotic. I  think it will be better for them to be under your care and participate in Contest rather than idling in Prof.Birch's place and do a Pokemon Battle. I think they're born for Pokemon Contest! Look at how happy they are when performing during the contest! It look so natural!
Ling: Really?! You mean it?! Thanks alot Rize! I will take good care of them!
Rize: Now I gotta go to the League! The Opening Ceremony is about to begin soon!
Milotic and Vulpix have parted way with Rize and now under Ling's ownership. Will Rize be alright without them in his arsenal in the League?

Chapter 95 - Tyranitar the King of Mt.Silver!

2 weeks have past since Rize start to climb the Mt.Silver with Gold and they still have not make it to the top yet.
Rize: It's been 2 weeks since we started climbing but the top is still not in sight. How long will we get there anyway?
Gold: Well it could takes months.
Rize: Months?! No way! My Pokemon League Competition will start in 2 weeks time! Can't we just fly up?
Gold: Skarmory can't fly with 2 people on its back. But this Pokemon can get us to the top!

Rize: Wow you got a Steelix!
Gold: Hang on tight! Steelix Rock Climb!
Steelix used Rock Climb to climb up to the top of Mt.Silver.
3 days later...
Rize: We made it to the top in 3 days!
Rize saw one of the greatest view in his life, he could see the whole Johto region from the top of Mt.Silver.
Rize: The view here is amazing! Everyone should see this!
Gold: Yeah the view is amazing! Anyway the Tyrant Pokemon is here! Looks like it have noticed us coming here!

Rize: It's huge! (Rize checked his Pokedex)

" Tyranitar the Armor Pokemon. It is a Rock and Dark type Pokemon. If it rampages, it knocks down mountains and buries rivers. Maps must be redrawn afterwards. "

The Tyranitar's army which is an army Tyrouge and Hitmontop began to attack!
Gold: I'm going to catch it! Tyranitar! I challenge you! Steelix go use Iron Tail!
Rize: I will take care of the rest then!
Rize and his whole Pokemon battled against the army of Tyrogue and Hitmontop while Gold battle with the Tyranitar.
Gold: It's so strong! Not even Steelixs' Iron Tail could scratch its armor! But it can't hurt Steelix so much either!
Rize: I've took care of the army! How about teaming up now?
Gold: You beat the whole army by yourself?! Allright let's attack together! Steelix Iron Tail!
Rize: Heracross use Brick Break!
The Tyranitar was badly injured and angry and unleashed a powerful Sandstorm attack.
Gold: Stay behind my Steelix or else you will be blown up and fell down! Now we won't know where it will be attacking us.
Rize: Swampert! Detect where it is and use Hydro Pump!
The Tyranitar was hit with Hydro Pump and the raging Sandstorm ended.
Gold: Allright! Steelix Iron Tail once more!
This time the Tyranitar couldn't withstand the attack and fell down.
Rize: You did it! Hurry up and get it!
Suddenly a group of Larvitars and the Tyrouge and Hitmontop army stand infront of Tyranitar and guarding it.


Some of the Larvitar begin to lick the Tyranitar's wound.
Gold: Forget it. If I catch the Tyranitar, these little Pokemon will lost their King and parent. They will be lost in their life! Besides I couldn't really make it without you too so it's not like I am worthy to catch it.
Rize: You're right! You're a good and honest person!
Rize saw Ho-oH flying in the sky from the tall Mt.Silver.

Rize: Gold look behind! It's Ho-oH! The Legendary Bird Pokemon! (Rize scanned it with his Pokedex)

But the Ho-oH already is already out of sight as it flew into the clouds.
Gold: Where?! I didn't see anything! You must be daydreaming! Let's go back.
After defeating the Tyranitar, Gold let it free for the sake of the kingdom and the orphans and now they are climbing down the Mt.Silver. Will Rize's training in Mt.Silver pays off in the Pokemon League?

Chapter 94 - Training at the Dangerous Forbidden Mt.Silver!

It's 1 more months before the Pokemon League in Johto start. Rize is planning to go to the most dangerous place in Johto that he have never went before. It is the forbidden Mt.Silver. Mt.Silver has been famous for its powerful wild Pokemon that is living there, threfore only authorised Trainer and people can enter into Mt.Silver's area but somehow Rize made it to enter the Mt.Silver's area.
Rize: Haha the guard was blind! They can't see me sneaking from the sideway. Anyway what's so dangerous about this place? Looks like a normal habitat of Pokemon.
Rize saw a group of Donphan and decided to let his Donphan to play together with them. But the Donphans treat Rize Donphan as an outsider and attacked Rize Donphan instead. The wild Donphans were much bigger than Rize's. The group of Donphan all together chasing Rize and Donphan with Rollout attack.
Rize: Donphan let's run!!!
Rize managed to escaped from the Donphans and hid himself in a small forest.
Rize: Phew.. Donphan get back into your Pokeball.
Just as he thought it was safe, a group of Ursaring was angry and began to attack Rize.

" Ursaring the Hibernator Pokemon and the evolved form of Teddiursa. It is a Normal type. In its territory, it leaves scratches on trees that bear delicious berries or fruits. "

Rize: Not again! Looks like I made them angry by entering their territory!
The Ursarings are faster than the Donphan and caught up to Rize and Rize is going to get slashed by its sharp claws! Suddenly something pulled up Rize and saved him into the air. It was a Trainer riding a Skarmory that saved him and they landed on the cliff of Mt.Silver.
Rize: Phew.. Thanks for saving me back there!
???: What do you think you're doing here?! You're underage! How did you manage to get inside here?!
Rize: How did you manage to get inside here yourself?!
Gold: I am Gold! The middle category Champion! Ofcourse I am authorized to get inside here! Now I'm sending you out from here.
Rize: No no no please don't send me out from here! I came here to train! The Pokemon League Competition is in a month time for me and I plan to train here at Mt.Silver!
Gold: You wanna train here?! The wild Pokemon here are very high level! They rarely see human and will attack any human they see! That's why it is forbidden to come here!
Rize: Please! I will stay close with you and I won't be troubling you I promise! Just let me stay here!
Gold: Allright then, but if the situation is getting risky I'm sending you back with my Skarmory.Got it?
Rize: So you're training here as well?
Gold: I am going to the top of this mountain and meet the Tyrant Pokemon of this mountain!
Rize: Tyrant Pokemon?! Sounds like a very powerful Pokemon!
Gold: You'll see for yourself when you reach the top. But that is if you're able to make it.
Rize: I'll make it into the top with you!
Rize decided to go to the top of Mt.Silver with Gold the middle category Champion and along the way up Rize also train under Gold. Will they be able to make it to the top and meet the Tyrant Pokemon?!

Chapter 93 - Johto's Elite 4 to th the rescue! End of Team Rocket in Johto!

Proton: Hahaha!! Come on bring it all you got kid!
Following on the last chapter, Rize was facing Proton and his new Pokemon, Steelix by himself.
Rize: Aipom Swift! Hoothoot use Pluck!
Steelix took Aipom's Swift and Hoothoot's Pluck as if it was nothing.
Proton: Iron Tail em!
Aipom and Hoothoot was knocked out by Iron Tail.
Rize: Donphan Rollout attack!
Donphan attacked with Rollout but Steelix is not moved at all and Donphan's spinning stop.
Proton: Iron Tail on its head!
Donphan took Steelix's Iron Tail on its head.
Proton: Now bind it with your tail and crush it!
Donphan was binded hard by Steelix with its tail and scream in pain.
Rize: Swampert you gotta help Donphan! Hydro Pump!
Steelix was hit by Swampert's Hydro Pump and released its bind on Donphan but Donphan is already out of comission.
Proton: Not even water could break through Steelix hard defense! Steelix Thunder Fang!
Steelix bite Swampert with Thunder Fang and lifted it up with its mouth.
Rize: Fool! Swampert Brick Break!
Swampert used Brick Break on Steelix's head but it didn't do a thing.
Proton: How did you do that you cheater! Then freeze it to death! Ice Fang!
Steelix used Ice Fang on Swampert and Swampert's body was all frozen up, Steelix threw Swampert to Rize and Rize was knocked back by Swampert.
Rize: Aagghhh! Swampert no!! I'm going to get you out from this ice! Hang in there!
Proton: I guess that's it huh?? Hahaha! Now I'm going to call the Grunts to take care of you!
Proton called his Grunt but nobody is answering.
Proton: This is weird.. Nobody's picking up the line!
Somebody's voice emerged from above
???: If you're wondering why nobody's answering your call I'll  tell you.
Proton: Who's there?! Where are you?! Show yourself!
???: Up here!


A ninja is found hanging on the ceiling above.
Proton: Get down here you fool! Steelix attack!
The Ninja dodged Steelix attack and went down.
Koga: I am Koga of the Elite 4!
???: Hariyama use Cross Chop to break the ice!
Swampert was freed from the ice.
Rize: Thanks alot! But who are you?!

Bruny: I am Bruny of the Elite 4!
Will: And I am Will also one of the Elite 4!

Karen: I'm Karen.. You did well fighting by yourself kid! Now leave the rest to us..

Proton: It's 4 against 1 it's not fair!
Karen: Then I will be the one to entertain you rocket!
Proton: Don't underestimate me woman! Not even an Elite 4 member can stop me! Steelix Iron Tail!
Karen: Houndoom use Fire Blast!

Rize: What's that Pokemon?

" Houndoom the Dark Pokemon. It is a Dark and Fire type Pokemon. The flames it breathes when angry contain toxins. If they cause a burn it will hurt forever. "

Houndoom launched a very powerful Fire Blast and knocked Steelix in an instant.
Proton: Steelix no!! It's impossible!!
Will: I really don't think we all should have came here..=.="
Rize: Amazing! With only 1 attack!
Ling arrived and brought the police and the police arrested Proton and the whole Rocket Grunts.
Ling: Rize you allright?!
Rize: Yea I'm fine.. The Elite 4 came in the right time..
Koga: Actually I was already up here when you're fighting against that guy but I wanted to see you battle so I decided to stay back hahaha..
Rize: " Why you... =.=! "
Ling: I called Prof.Elm and Prof.Elm asked for the Elite 4's help..

The radio tower that was hi jacked by Team Rocket have finally been saved by the Elite 4 and Rize as well. And it looks like there are no more Team Rocket left in Johto so peace have finally brought back for Johto.
Now Rize just need to focus on his training for the upcoming Pokemon League!

Chapter 92 - Trapped In the Enemy's Territory! Battle or Die!

In the previous chaper, Rize sneaked into the radio tower in Golden Rod city wearing the Rocket Grunt's uniform and disguised as one of them.
Rocket Grunt: Hahahha! I can't believe it's so easy to overtake this place!
Rize: Hey where is our boss?
Rocket Grunt: Boss? What are you talkin bout? Our boss is in Kanto..
Rize: I mean our leader..
Rocket Grunt: Leader Proton is at the director's office at the highest level. Are you new on Team Rocket? I never see you before and you're quite young..
Rize: Eerr.. yes I'm new here..
Rocket: Grunt: Well done! It's a very nice decision for you to join us Team Rocket! Smart! Because we're going to rule the world!!
Rize: Okay okay.. I have to go to meet Leader Proton now, excuse me. " Isn't Proton the one I faced at Azalea's Slowpoke well?! Great timing! I'm going to beat him this time!"
Rize went to the highest floor where the director's office is at and went to see Proton.
Proton: What is it Grunt? You have news for me?
Rize: Yeah! And this is my news for you! Cyndaquil Flamewheel!
Proton: What?! Granbull Protect!
Proton sends out his Granbull and quickly shielded him from the Cyndaquil's attack with Protect.
Proton: Who the hell are you?! I never remember having an underling like you!
Rize revealed himself and took off the Rocket uniform.
Proton: That face! I remember! You're the weak kid who was trying to stop me in Azalea Town! You've grown kid! What do you want? Stop me?
Rize: Exactly! What do you intend to do with taking the radio tower anyway?!
Proton: If we can control the media, we can control the public! Controlling the public means controlling the world! We are going to rule the whole world step by step! Now try to stop me if you can! Granbull attack!
Rize: Cyndaquil back off! Heracross go use Horn Attack!
Proton: Granbull Fire Fang!
Granbull grabs Heracross horn and used Fire Fang on it.
Rize: Heracross you ok?
Proton: It's useless! You will never defeat me! If I want I can make a siren and the whole Rocket Grunt will gang you and take care of you but I'm a nice guy. I've just been promoted to be an executive and I can take care of you myself! Granbull another Fire Fang!
Rize: Really? Heracross fly and use Aerial Ace!
Granbull missed its attack and was hit with Aerial Ace.
Rize: Brick Break!
Heracross put Granbull out of comission.
Rize: Give it up! Your Pokemon's defeated! You lost!
Proton: Is that so? Too bad.. I've just been promoted and I was given this Pokemon as my prize.. playtime's over! Steelix crush them!

Rize: It's huge!(Rize checked his Pokedex)

" Steelix the Iron Snake Pokemon. It is a Steel and Ground type Pokemon. Steelix body have been compressed deep under the ground. As a result it is even harder than a diamond. "

Proton: Steelix Fire Fang!
With one hit Steelix knocked out Rize's Heracross.
Proton: You better give it all you got kid! Or you're gonna die...!!
Rize: It's a Steel type! Cyndaquil Flame Wheel!
Proton: Steelix Iron Tail!
Cyndaquil was bashed with Iron Tail and knocked out.
Proton: Do you really think that little weak Pokemon of yours could beat this monster Steelix by any chance?!
Rize: I guess I gotta give it my all! Hoothoot, Aipom, Donphan, Swampert! All together let's go!!
Rize have defeated Proton's Granbull but who would have thought that Proton have such a strong Pokemon on his arsenal now?! Will Rize be able to beat the giant monster Steelix by himself?!

Chapter 91 - Sneaking into the Radio Tower!

At the Radio Tower..

Mary: Don't worry Smeargle! I'm sure help will come soon!

Rocket Grunt: Help?! Hahaha! The majority of people who listen to radio is very few nowadays. Furthermore not many people in Johto region knows about Team Rocket! So help won't come! They will just believe what is said on the broadcast!
Meanwhile Rize and Ling have arrived at Golden Rod city and went to check on the radio tower.
Radio receptionist lady: I'm sorry kids.. but you are not allowed to enter our radio tower
Rize: This is really weird! Since when we can't enter the radio tower?! Visitors should be allowed to see around the first floor!
Suddenly, a Smeargle fell from above and hit Rize's head.
Ling: Rize you okay?! Where did this Pokemon come from?
Rize: What Pokemon is this?(Rize checked his Pokedex) It's from above! Don't tell me that it jumped from the radio tower building!
Ling: Did someone push it from the window or..?
The Smeargle began to paint a picture of men in black uniforms with an R logo on the chest.
Rize: It's Team Rocket! The Smeargle must be trying to tell us something about Team Rocket!
Smeargle rubs off the painting and painted a different drawing this time it's DJ Mary being tied with a rope.
Ling: It's DJ Mary! But she's tight with a rope!
Rize: That means DJ Mary's inside with this condition! Team Rocket really hi-jacked the radio tower! Ling call Prof.Elm about this and take the Smeargle to the Pokemon Centre!
Ling: Ok.. what are you going to do?
Rize: I'm going inside!(Rize enters the radio tower buidling)
Ling: No waiit!
Inside the radio tower..
Radio receptionist lady: I've done like you told, I've asked everybody who tries to come here to leave.
Radio Grunt: Exellent job! Now now.. what about having some fun with me...? Hehehe
Radio receptionist lady: Eeeekkkk!!!
Rize: Donphan Rollout attack to the Rocket Grunt!
Donphan knocked the Rocket Grunt and the Rocket Grunt's fainted.
Radio receptionist lady: Thanks kid! You saved me!
Rize: Why don't you tell me just now that Team Rocket took over this place?!
Radio receptionist lady: I thought that you are just a mere kid and won't know about Team Rocket and staffs.. I'm sorry!
Rize: Why don't you call the police then?!
Radio receptionist lady: The phone has been modified that it can't make a call to the police number and furthermore they threaten to kill me if i do so!
Rize: Whatever! Now get out from here quick!
The radio receptionist lady escaped the building while Rize stole the fainted grunt's Rocket uniform and disguised as a Rocket Grunt.
Rize: This cloths too big for me and it stings! Anyway I'll go up there and save everyone!
Rize have sneaked into the radio tower disguising as one of the Rocket Grunt. Will he be allright facing the whole Team Rocket by himself?! Find out on the next chapter!

Chapter 90 - Golden Rod's Radio Tower Overtaken by Team Rocket?!

After afew days travelling on route 45, Rize have finally arrived back at New Bark Town.
Rize: It's been 9 months since the last time I was here. Cyndaquil and Hoothoot this is the place where I first meet you guys! Let's meet Prof.Elm again!
Rize entered Prof.Elm's Lab after the nostalgic walk on route 29 near New Bark Town.
Prof.Elm: Oh Rize! It's a surprise to see you! What takes you here?
Rize told Prof.Elm that he have successfully gathered 8 badges from Johto and is now going to back to Hoenn temporary for training until the Pokemon League starts.
Prof.Elm: It's great that you have successfully made your entrance to the Pokemon League, but according to your Pokedex data, you have not yet see every Pokemon in the Johto region.. Are you sure you don't wanna travel around Johto again? I'm sure there are still places that you haven't go and see.
Rize: I think you're right! Come to think of it I haven't know the mystery of  the Pokemon living in the Sea at Whril Islands.
Prof.Elm: Pokemon living in the Sea at the Whirl Islands?! Do you mean Lugia?!
Rize enter Lugia into the Pokedex.

" Lugia the Diving Pokemon. It is said to be the guardian of the seas. It is rumored to have been seen on the night of a storm. It quietly spends its time deep at the sea because its power are too strong. "

Rize: Yes! This is the Pokemon I saw coming out from the Sea at night when I was flying across the sea route back to Olivine Town! It's such an elegant Pokemon! It must be a Water type!
Prof.Elm: You gotta be kidding! Lugia is a Legendary Pokemon! It can't be seen that easily in wild! Unfortunately Lugia is a Psychic and Flying type but it do live in the sea tough.
Rize: I'm not making this up! I really saw it!
Prof.Elm: Allright allright, why don't we listen to nice music on the radio now.(Prof.Elm turn on the radio)
Radio: Greetings people of Johto! We are now promoting Team Rocket! Team Rocket is an organization that do good for people and Pokemon! We highly suggest you people to support Team Rocket from now on! Allright people enjoy this Rocket Music now!
Prof.Elm: What the hell are they talking about?! That's not DJ Mary!! Isn't Team Rocket the evil organization that attacked us?! And what's with this loud and crazy music! It's simply a noise pollution! How can they call this music?!
Rize: Prof! I got a bad feeling about this! Something seems not right!
Prof.Elm: Are you telling me that Team Rocket hi-jacked the Radio Tower at Golden Rod?! But the Radio Tower is guarded with top security! It won't be that easy to overtake that place!
Beep beep.. Rize Pokegear rings..
Ling: Rize! Did you hear the radio broadcast just now?! Don't tell me that Team Rocket have hi jacked the radio tower?!
Rize: Maybe.. I'm going to go to Golden Rod city to check by myself now!
Ling: I'll go too!
Rize: Let's meet there then!
Prof.Elm: Don't do anything reckless, call me when you've reach there!
Rize and Ling is now on the way to Golden Rod city! Did Team Rocket really hi-jacked the radio tower?!

Chapter 89 - Battle for the Badges!

After earning the last badge in Johto, Rize is now on route 45 to go back to Prof.Elm's place in New Bark Town to tell about his success in collecting the gym badges. Suddenly..
Antoine: Rize wait!!
Rize: Oh it's you Antoine! What's up? So how's your Pokemon training going?
Antoine: I caught new Pokemon by myself! I feel like I can beat any trainer now!
Rize: Oh I see.. getting confident huh? But let me tell you, the world is a huge place!
Antoine: I don't need you to tell me, I feel like I can beat you! Come on let's have a battle!
Rize: Hahaha! Sure!
Antoine: If you lose you have to surrend all your Johto badges to me! Is that okay?!
Rize: What?! You're kidding!
Antoine: Come on... I thought you're confident to beat me..
Rize: Cih! Fine then! How many Pokemon?!
Antoine: Since I only have 2 Pokemon now, let's have a 2 on 2! Murkrow go!

" Murkrow the Darkness Pokemon. It is a Dark and Flying type Pokemon. It is believed that seeing this Pokemon at night will bring about ominous occurrences. "

Rize: So this is the new Pokemon you've captured. Hoothoot go!
Antoine: Murkrow use Astonish!
Murkrow attacked Hoothoot with Astonish but Hoothoot is not affected.
Rize: Boy! Normal type Pokemon is not affected with Ghost type moves! Hoothoot Confusion!
Hoothoot attacked Murkrow with Confusion but Murkrow is not affected as well.
Antoine: Dark type Pokemon is not affected with Psychic type moves! You're not any better afterall! So this is your 2 and a half years experience of journey and trainings?! Murkrow Wing Attack!
Rize: Shut up! Hoothoot dodge and use Pluck! (Hoothoot's Peck is improved and now is replaced with Pluck)
Hoothoot dodged Murkrow's Wing Attack and attacked with Pluck attack and Murkrow is down.
Antoine: It's okay! As long as I have this Pokemon! Sneasel go!
Rize: Hoothoot thanks! Now retreat! Phanpy your turn!
Antoine: Are you purposely giving yourself a handicap?! Phanpy is weak against Ice type!
Rize: I'm going to teach you a lesson that type is not everything in battle! Phanpy use Take Down!
Antoine: Sneasel dodge and use Faint Attack!
Phanpy was hit with Faint Attack.
Rize: Phanpy's defense is high! You can't beat us with a weak attack like that! Phanpy Rollout!
Antoine: Sneasel jump and dodge it. In that case use Icy Wind!
Phanpy was hit with Icy Wind and its rollout attack stopped.
Rize: Phanpy stay strong! You can't lose here! You've defeated the Ice type Gym before!
Upon hearing Rize's motivating words Phanpy start to glow and evolved!

Antoine: What?!

" Donphan the Armor Pokemon and the evolved form of Phanpy. It is a Ground type. Donphan attacks by curling up, then rolling into its foe. It can blow apart a house in one hit. The longer and bigger its tusks, the higher its rank in its herd. The tusk take long to grow. "

Rize: Yes! Donphan use Rollout!
Instead of using Rollout Donphan used Scary Face instead and showed off its new move and made Sneasel scared and lowering its speed.
Antoine: Sneasel what's wrong?!
Rize: Great now use Rollout!
Donphan attacked Sneasel with a strong super effective Rollout attack and knocked out sneasel.
Antoine: Sneasel!!
Rize: You can't beat your opponent by dodging everything alone. I know that Sneasel's fast but so what? It can still be countered with strategies.Look! There's no shortcut in everything! You have to train hard and earn your badges yourself! Understand?! There's still 3 more months before the Pokemon League start! If you work hard I'm sure you will be able to make it in time!
Antoine understood and began on his Pokemon Journey and collecting Gym badges to enter the Pokemon League in Johto. Will he be able to enter the competition? Stay tuned.

Chapter 88 - Blackthorn City Gym Rematch!

After practicing further on the Ice Punch and finish their regular training, the next day Rize is ready for his Gym rematch.
Referee: The Gym battle between Rize the challenger and Tyson the Jr.Gym Leader is bout to begin! Each Trainer only use 1 Pokemon for this battle! Ready?! Begin!
Tyson: You're still here?! I thought you're back to your home and cry to your mama! Are you sure you wanna lose again? It's still not too late if you want to quit..
Rize kept his cool and stay calmed altough he is boiling inside.
Claire: Tyson just beat him again! This time teach this outsider a lesson for real!
Tyson: Yes Master Claire! Kingdra let's kick their ass again!

Rize: Swampert go!
Tyson: You're still going with that weak Pokemon? Kingdra Hydro Pump!
Rize: Swampert dive into the water!
Swampert dodged Kingdra's Hydro Pump and dived into the water.
Tyson: You still haven't learn your lesson?! Kingdra use Whirlpool and trap that Pokemon!
Swampert was trapped in the vortex of whirlpool.
Rize: Swampert now! Use Ice Punch on the water!
Swampert used Ice Punch on the water and froze the whirlpool thus stopping the Whirlpool attack.
Tyson: What?! No way!
Rize: Swampert Brick Break!
Tyson: Dive in and hide using Smoke Screen!
Kingdra dived in and used Smoke Screen so that Swampert can't know its exact location.
Rize: Swampert use Brick Break!
Kingdra was hit with Brick Break.
Tyson: But how?!
Rize: Under water, Swampert can detect on where its opponent using its fin as a radar!
Tyson: Hah! Your Brick Break almost didn't do a thing due to attacking in the water.
Rize: Swampert freeze the whole water field with Ice Punch!
Swampert frozed the whole water field turning it into an Ice field.
Rize: Your Kingdra is pretty much useless now that there's no water!
Tyson: Curse you!! Kingdra use Hydro Pump!
Rize: Swampert use Brick Break to cut through the Hydro Pump!
Swampert cut through Kingdra's Hydro Pump with Brick Break and attack with Brick Break!(Not in water)
Rize: Don't give it a chance to rest! Mud Bomb!
Kingdra was hit with Mud Bomb.
Tyson: Damn! Kingdra let's use Dragon Rage!
Rize: Swampert Hydro Pump!
Kingdra's Dragon Rage was blocked with Hydro Pump.
Rize: Ice Punch!!!

Kingdra was hit with a powerful Ice Punch and..
Referee: Kingdra is unable to battle! Swampert wins! Rize the challenger wins the match!!
Tyson: How could I lose??
Claire: You're a disgrace to our Dragon Clan! I'm replacing you with Takao! And for you boy! I'm not giving you any badge boy! You don't desrve the Jr.Rising badge!
Rize: What?!
Suddenly the Move Tutor Man came in.
Move Tutor Man: This boy wins the match fair and square! Give him the badge at once! Or should I have your grandpa told Lance about this?!
Claire: Ugh!! Allright then.. Here take your Jr.Rising Badge! I hope that you lose at the first match of the Pokemon League!!
Rize: What kind of adult have an attitude like that?! No wonder her disciples are so arrogant and annoying!
Move Tutor Man: Ignore them, as long as you got your badge!

Rize have finally collected the whole 8 of Johto's Gym badges. But this doesn't mean that his Johto journeys have finished as there are still places that he have yet to visit. The Pokemon League is still in 3 months time and Rize still have lots of time to further polishing his Pokemon and skills. Will Rize be able to make it in the Johto League? Stay tuned!

Chapter 87 - Training a Brand New Move!

Nurse: Your Swampert is back to health again! We're glad to serve you!

(In Johto, Blissey is a Pokemon that helps in treating the Pokemon in every Pokemon Centre)
Rize: Thanks nurse and Blissey.. Swampert I'm sorry that we lost..
???: Hoho.. did you just have a gym battle at the Blackthorn Gym and lost?
Rize: ...Yeah..
???: Fear not! I, the Move Tutor Man will help you to win!
Rize: Move Tutor?
Rize told the Move Tutor Man about the battle and how he lost in the Gym battle.
Move Tutor Man: So that's how it is.. now I got a question for you boy, how do you stop water from moving?
Rize: Water have no base form, even if we put in a container it can still move.. unless!!
Move Tutor Man: You got it now?!
Rize: Why didn't I think of it at that time?! All I have to do is to freeze the water with Swampert's Ice Beam attack!
Move Tutor Man: Yuph.. always remember that no matter in any situation you're in, stay calm!
Rize: Allright then! I'm going for a rematch!
Move Tutor Man: Not yet young boy, I got a better move for your Swampert..
Rize: What move is that?!
Move Tutor Man: Young boy, do you realize that Swampert is great in physical strength?
Rize: Yes I do.. so?
Move Tutor Man: But it is not so great in special attacks! That's why I'm going to teach you a better move than Ice Beam which is Ice Punch!
Rize: Ice Punch?! That's cool! Please teach us!
Move Tutor Man: This will be quick and easy since your Swampert already mastered the ice element. All you have to do is to concentrate the ice element this time not from your Swampert's mouth but from Swampert's fist! After you have charged the ice power enough than you go and strike it with a punch to your opponent! My Quaqsire will demonstrate and assist your Swampert!


The Move Tutor Man's Quagsire demonstraed to Swampert an Ice Punch attack after that Rize and Swampert practiced on mastering the Ice Punch move and after several tries..

Rize: You made it Swampert! You've mastered Ice Punch! A brand new move!
Move Tutor Man: Congratulations young boy! Now the rest is up to you and you should have no problem in the rematch.
Swampert have mastered a new move which is a much more powerful attack in its arsenal, but it can't fire Ice Beam from range again in official battles as the rule say it that a Pokemon can only use 4 registered moves in an official battle. Will this be enough to beat Tyson and his powerful Kingdra?! Find out on the next chapter!

Chapter 86 - The Strongest Gym!

The next day, Rize challenged the Blackthorn City Gym Leader for a Gym battle. The Gym arena is a water field.
Referee: The Gym Battle between Rize and Tyson the Jr.Gym Leader is about to begin! It's a 1 on 1 Pokemon match!
Rize: Only 1?!
Tyson: I heard this is your last Gym is it? Behold as I will crush your dream of entering the Pokemon League Competition! The strongest Gym in Johto! I, Tyson the Dragon Trainer will crush you! Kingdra go!

" Kingdra the Dragon Pokemon. It is Water and Dragon type Pokemon. It can create whirlpools by yawning."

Rize: Don't be so sure yet! Swampert go!

Tyson: You're not from this region?! Kingdra use Hydro Pump!
Rize: Swampert dive in to dodge it!
Swampert dived into the water and dodged Kingdra's Hydro Pump.
Rize: Swampert! Let's show them our Hydro Pump! (Swampert learned Hydro Pump)
Tyson: Let's dive in and dodge like they did!
This time Kingdra dodged Swampert's Hydro Pump by diving into the water.
Rize: Got you! Swampert dive in and follow it!
Tyson: So you wanna have an underwater battle huh? Kingdra use Smoke-Screen!
Kingdra spreaded an ink under water and make Swampert unable to see in the water.
Rize: Oh no let's get out of the water!
Tyson: We won't let you! Kingdra use Whirlpool!
Kingdra made a whirlpool and trapped Swampert in the water.
Rize: Swampert!
Tyson: Kingdra Hydro Pump!
Swampert was hit with Hydro Pump.
Rize: "Gotta stop the whirlpool! But how?!"
Tyson: Run out of movements?! Time to finish this then, Kingdra Dragon Rage!
Kingdra used Dragon Rage and Swampert was knocked out.
Referee: Swampert is unable to battle! Winner is Tyson and Kingdra!
Rize: I lost?!
Tyson: Ofcourse! Now go back to wherever your region!

Claire: Good job Tyson! You taught that outsider a lesson!
Rize: " What?! Outsider?! "
Rize last Gym battle have just ended and unfortunately it didn't end like it was planned and Rize lost the match. Will Rize be able to beat the Dragon Gym or will he go back to Hoenn after the harsh treatment of the Gym leaders?

Chapter 85 - The Ice Cave Maze!

Somewhere in some other place..
Rocket Boss: Hm! So Aethena have been caught.. but our mission in Johto must still continue.. Proton from now on you're the one in charge of Johto replacing Aethena! If you can succeed our plan, you will be promoted to be an Executive.
Proton: Yes sire! You can count on me!
It looks like there are still more of Team Rocket in Johto, meanwhile Rize is now heading to Blackthorn City for his last Gym Badge but first he have to go through the Ice Cave first.


Rize: It's so cold in here! Cyndaquil light up the fire in your back to make our surrounding warm!
Rize went further into the Ice Cave looking for the exit and he found a boy laying down on the ice floor, fainted. The boy have a grey semi curled hair, relatively tiny body and shorter than average of its age.
Rize: Look Cynda! A boy is fainted there! Let's save him!
Rize and Cyndaquil warm the boy up with flames and  the boy woke up.
Boy: Uhh..
Rize: Hey you okay? What are you doing in this place?
Boy: My name's Antoine, I want to catch a Pokemon but I couldn't stand the cold..
Rize: Do you have any Fire Pokemon?
Antoine: No, I dont have any Pokemon yet.. that's why I want to catch my first Pokemon.. brrr...
Rize: Anyway we gotta get out of this cave first, let's go!
30 minutes later..
Rize: Damn! Just where's the exit of this cave?! It looks like we're walking in circle! "This is bad..I can't stand the cold any longer!"
A wild sneasel appeared and attacked Rize and Antoine.





Rize: Oh no! Not in a time like this! It must be angry because we're trespassing its territory.(Rize checked his Pokedex)

" Sneasel the Sharp Claw Pokemon. It is Dark and Ice type Pokemon. Sneasel is a smart and sneaky Pokemon. It is extremely vicious and will not stop attacking until its foe is incapable of moving. "

Antoine: That Pokemon! I want to catch that Pokemon!
Rize: "Catching it might be a good idea! After all it's a Pokemon that lives here and it must know the exit!" Cyndaquil let's go use Swift Attack!
Sneasel dodged Cyndaquil's Swift Attack with its agile speed and attacked Cyndaquil with Slash attack.
Rize: "It's too fast! Cyndaquil can't keep up with its speed and furthermore we can't use fire attacks in this place as it will melt the ices!" In that case! Aipom go! let's see who's faster!
The wild Sneasel attacked with Icy Wind.
Rize: Aipom Double Team!
Aipom dodged and confused Sneasel with its illusionary copies.
Rize: Aipom use Swift!
Sneasel dodged the whole copies and real Swift attacks but while it is busy dodging..
Rize: Now Cyndaquil use Flame Wheel!
Cyndaquil attacked Sneasel with Flame Wheel and hurt it badly until it couldn't stand up.
Rize: Antoine now throw your Pokeball!
Antoine threw his Pokeball and caught the wild Sneasel.
Antoine: I caught a Pokemon!! Thanks Rize!
After that they managed to find the exit thanks to Sneasel and finally they reached Blackthorn City.
Rize: Allright! Blackthorn City! Time to get the last badge!
Antoine: The last badge?! You already have 7 badges?! No wonder you're so great!
Rize have finally reached Blackthorn City and the Blackthorn Gym is just around the corner. What kind of Gym is the Blackthorn Gym?
