Chapter 9 - Aron's Ex-Trainer?!

The next day Rize is ready to challenge the Dewford Gym. Just when he was on his way towards the Gym, he met with one of the most disgusting Trainer he will ever meet.

???: Hey Darren! I heard that you have an Aron right?! Can I see it?
Darren: Yea.. but i let it go, I abandoned it Petalburg Woods! HahaHa it's so useless that it don't know any Steel or Rock Type move!!
???: So you just dumped it like that?! You're the Man!! I'm Proud to be your friend!
Darren: Ofcourse! What do you expect! I am Darren afterall!
Rize: You're Disgusting!! So that's why there's an Aron in such a place like Petalburg Woods! So you're it's Trainer in the past!
Darren: Ha? What did you say about me earlier?! How dare you say that to me! And what do you know about that useless Pokemon?!
Rize: That Aron is now mine and he's stronger than ever now! It even helped me earn a Gym badge!
Darren: Oh yea?! HaHahA! So you caught that useless Pokemon?! Yea Useless Pokemon really suit a Useless Trainer like you!
Rize: No Pokemon is Weak! If the Trainer is good then the Pokemon will be Strong and good too! You're the one who is Weak that's why your Pokemon is Weak! Pokemon and Trainer can grow to be Strong together!
Darren: Save your speech! I do my own way! I'll just get a Strong Pokemon and leave the Weak ones! There's still so many Pokemon out there! Who say that my Pokemon is Weak?! You wanna battle huh?!
Rize: Bring it on!! Aron let's teach him a lesson!
Darren: Hahaha it's that useless Pokemon! I'll show you the real deal!
Darren sent out his Pokemon and it appears to be a Lairon which is Aron's first evolution.

Rize checked Lairon with his Pokedex.

" Lairon the Iron Armor Pokemon, a Steel and Rock type Pokemon and the evolved form of Aron. Lairon loves iron ore. It smashes its body against others to fight over territory. "

Rize: So it's Lairon eh?! It doesn't matter we'll still win this!
Unfortunately, not only Aron was intimidated by facing a Lairon but also with the presence of it's Ex-Trainer which he hate so much for abandoned it and affected it's abillity.
Rize: You said that this Aron can't do any Steel Type move huh? Well it's true at first but now it can! Aron Metal Claw!!
Aron is too affected with his dillema and unable to use Metal Claw.
Darren: Ha?! Where is it?! Lairon show him the Real Metal Claw!
Lairon attacked Aron with Metal Claw and immediately Aron was knocked out of fear.
Darren: Go Home boy!!
Rize hurried to Pokemon Center to get Aron healed. It is the biggest humiliation in his life losing to a disgusting Trainer like that. However, he did not give up on Aron instead he encourage Aron after the lost and not scolding it and train together.
Rize: Be brave Aron! That Lairon is nothing compare to you! That Lairon didn't get a training with Steven's Aggron! Have confident in yourself! We'll win with your speed since Lairon is heavier and slower! You want to be laughed and humiliated by that jerk Darren again?! Now it's time to show him who's the boss!!
Aron get overed with his fear and dillema and instead become so spirited in defeating Darren and Lairon.
The next day Rize came to the place where Darren and his gang usually hang around and found him and re-challenge him.
Darren: You sure don't know when to quit eh?! Fine if you want to lose again! Lairon go!
Rize: Aron let's go!
Darren: You still haven't given up on that useless Pokemon? Lairon finish it again with your Metal Claw!
Rize: Dodge it!
Darren: You got lucky! Again Lairon!
Aron avoided every single one of Lairon's Metal Claw thus wearing out Lairon and frustrating it.
Darren: How dare you!! Don't be a pussy for avoiding our moves all the time! Attack us!
Rize: You ask for it! Aron Metal Claw!
Aron hit Lairon with Metal Claw on the head.
Darren: That was nothing! Metal Claw again!
Rize: Aron Harden and take the hit!
Aron used Harden and take the hit as if it was nothing!
Darren: What?! No way!! Again Lairon!!
Rize: This time dodge it with Dig and attack from below!
Aron dug in to the ground and avoided Lairon's Metal Claw and knocked out Lairon with a Super Effective Dig.
Rize: See that?! Take that now!
Darren: How could this happen?! And since when did Aron knows Dig?!! Mommyyy....!!!(Running away)
Darren and the whole gang fled away like a coward and Rize finally settled his score with Darren and also boosting Aron's low confident and self-esteem. But how about the Dewford Gym? Find out on the next Chapter!
